Growing up in New Jersey, I was the seventh of eight children. I soon realized the importance of sharing with my brothers and sisters. We shared a bed and clothing. I always received the “hand me downs”. My father and mother truly did their very best to provide for us. My husband’s dream was for me to visit his native country. In June 2019, we traveled to Lascahobas, Haiti, my first mission trip with my husband and sister-in-law. I soon realized there was a great need in Haiti. I was touched and moved by the lack of opportunity for a good education for the children of Haiti. I also realized, at that moment, that the right things to do was to support his mission to educate the children of Haiti.
